About Me

If you are looking for a friendly, versatile and experienced Production Sound Mixer / Recordist then you’ve come to the right place. I have extensive filming experience both on location and in studios along with a vast knowledge of all things audio including multi track music recording and multi camera production scenarios.

I am a well travelled and multi skilled production sound mixer having worked all over the world. I am always happy to get stuck in to whatever situation presents itself, with a smile on my face and a can do attitude.

I have over 30 years experience in the film and television industry working in: drama, documentary, light entertainment, short films and several independent features. I also have extensive experience as a sound supervisor having worked on a large number of television outside broadcasts in sport and music for many mainstream broadcasters.

I have a wealth of experience recording large scale music productions both as live events and as studio productions. I also own a large amount of high end audio equipment transported in a custom built production van.

Equipment

As a Production Sound Mixer, I pride myself in providing all of my own high end, meticulously maintained, sound equipment. Every single piece of kit I have bought, is lovingly cared for to ensure its best possible performance on set.

Organisation is key to a successful production and to that end I have a purpose built production van that ensures all of my equipment can be transported safely and securely. Not only for transport however, with a place for everything and everything in it’s place, a well organised van helps me to ensure I can always provide an efficiently run department.

What I've Been Up To

With a career spanning more than 30 years, I have found myself working on productions of all different shapes and sizes. I have worked as a Production Sound Mixer in dramas, short films and features. I have worked as a Sound Supervisor in live television and I have also worked as a Studio Engineer recording and mixing music.
